We are all going to Hell

PLEASE IF YOU ARE CLOSE-MINDED DON’T READ THIS. JUST SKIP THIS POST. I TAKE GOD BEG YOU. THIS IS NOT FOR CLOSE-MINDED PEOPLE. IT IS MEANT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT SOCIETY SAYS. SEE? I HAD TO WRITE IT BOLDLY. IF YOU ARE CLOSE-MINDED, BYE. PLEASE, DON’T READ FOR THE SAKE OF WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD TO BELIEVE. BUT IF YOU MUST READ, BE TRUE TO YOURSELF.

I’m “spiritually adventurous.” I have read the Holy Qur’an, the sacred book of Buddhism-Tipitaka, a little of the Bhagavad Gita, and the Holy Bible. I have even dabbled a little into the occult. (When you say occult people think of the Devil). One thing all these books teach is LOVE. Do unto others what you want them to do to you. (Do you love your neighbour? Do you sincerely wish him/her well? Jesus said, “Love God and love your neighbour.” But that is not what I want to write about today).

When people ask what church I attend, I tell them, “my parents are Catholics.” I didn’t choose to be a Christian. I found “them” practicing Catholicism and just like that, they involved me. If I were born in China, I would have been a Buddhist.

In all my life, the worst people I’ve met are Christians. I almost vomited when this “Brother-in-the-Lord” told me that it was okay to have sex with whom you are dating but masturbation is sinful in the eyes of the Lord. Heeei!

One married man wanted to have sex with me. He IS a strong man in his church. I went to rectify my an issue I had with my line (He works in a telecoms firm). “Uncle” and I were now gisting o. At the time, the anti Same-Sex Marriage Bill was the talk in the country. I told him that for a country grappling serious issues, an individual’s sexuality was a trivial issue. This man just told me, “It is a sin.”

Trust my sharp-mouth, I calmly told him, “Adultery is a sin.”

The next thing he said was, “It doesn’t matter. God understands.”

That was the moment I gave up on him. Whenever he called, I didn’t bother answering.

Another dude I know said something that made me want to cry for him. I told him if he were born in India, he would have been a Hinduist. Probably he’d have been prejudiced towards people who practiced Christianity or Islam. He told me, “I’m lucky to be a Christian.”

I asked him, “God is going to condemn non-Christians to hell?”

He didn’t have any reply.

If I gist you about my experience with Christian sisters, you would puke on your phone or your i-pad. Whatever device you are reading this with.

Ha! Why all these evils, now?

The most amazing people I’ve met are free thinkers and Muslims. At a point, I was tempted to convert to Islam.

Now, let me go to the reason why I even started writing this in the first place. My dear, we are all going to hell o! Hmmm! No sin is lesser or greater than the other. Sin is sin.

Are you gay? (Lev 18)

Do you have sex when you are on your period or when your partner is on her period? (Lev 20:18)

Do you cheat on your spouse? (Lev 20: 10)

Are you having sex with someone you are not married to?

Do you masturbate?

Do you watch porn?

Do you eat shrimps, lobsters, periwinkles, and crabs? (Lev 11:12- All that have not fins and scales, in the water, shall be unclean).

Do you shave your beard? (Lev 19:28- Nor shall you cut your hair roundwise: nor shave your beard).

Do you have a tattoo even if it is of Jesus, the Crucifix, or whatever? (Lev 19: 28)

Do you disobey and dishonour your parents?

Are you guilty of pride?

Are you guilty of lust?

Are you guilty of envy?

Are you covetous?

Are you slothful?

Are you a glutton?

Do you get drunk?

Have you lied in anyway? (Lied in an affidavit to reduce your age, told a white lie- a lie is a lie).

Have you stolen? (Inflate figures at your workplace).

I could go on and on.

If you are guilty of at least one of the above mentioned, you are going to hell because you are a sinner. There is no small sin o. It makes me wonder why some people condemn one sin and condone another.

I am writing this to people who forget that they are not better off. People who feel that they are entitled to Heaven because they are Christians.

Isn’t it an irony that Nigeria is one of the most religious countries in the world yet we are one of the most criminal countries in the world?

Just Musing.

P.S. If God were to judge the world on the tenets of Buddhism, many Christians would go to hell. In Buddhism, you are not meant to sleep in a big bed.

P.P.S. The Qur’an states that Jews and Christians are condemned. If God were to judge by Islam, we’re going to hell.

P.P.P.S There is no proof that Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because of homosexuality. In Ancient Rome, homosexuality was the norm. Lest I forget, Socrates was gay. Sappho, too. I could go on and on.

P.P.P.P.S What good thing has being religious helped us to achieve as being Nigerians? We are still corrupt. Noam Chomsky wrote that if you want to control a group of people give them religion.
